Skills Win Curriculum
The foundation of the Skills Win curriculum is identified in Professor Bill Coplin’s book 10 Things Employers Want You to Learn in College, published in 2012. In 2024, Coplin worked with Rebecca Edelman to revise the skill sets. The skills range from basic communication skills to using computer applications. In total there are 38 Skills divided among 10 Skill Sets.
During coaching sessions, participants develop their skills by working through short exercises (ranging from 5-30 minutes). A single exercise often targets multiple Skills and Skill Sets. See the 10 Skill Sets below:
